Position Summary

 Ables Inc. is seeking an Electrician Apprentice to join our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for installing electrical equipment including wiring. You must be able to read and interpret blueprints. All employees of Ables Inc. must be knowledgeable in their field and provide excellent customer service. 


Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and comply with all Ables Inc. safety and environmental requirements, policies, and procedures, including the Ables Inc. Vision, Mission and Values 
  • Embrace and promote the Ables Inc. culture in all day-to-day activities: foster and promote a positive, respectful work environment that is aligned with Ables Inc. values 
  • Ensure customer requirements are achieved 
  • Install electrical service equipment 
  • Troubleshoot electrical projects 
  • Manage and complete all electrical projects 
  • Maintain good attitude no matter the job duties assigned during a given day 
  • Remain self-aware and understand the importance of being on time 
  • Travel, 75% travel (within Ables Inc. customer demographic) is expected for this position 
  • Will commit to apprenticeship schooling one night a week throughout the 4-year program  (5pm – 9pm in Columbus) 


Qualification/Skills/Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license required 
  • HS Diploma or GED preferred 
  • Ability to pass Drug Screen & Background Check 
  • Good time management skills 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Flexibility 
  • Team player
