Ables Inc. utilizes a full-time Safety Director who is responsible for the overall compliance of the safety program. Ables Inc. provides an annual safety training program that includes the following: OSHA 10-HOUR Certification in Construction Safety & Health, First-Aid/Bloodborne Pathogen, Adult CPR/AED, Hazard Communication/Hazmat Awareness, Confined Space Entry Requirements, Firefighting/Extinguisher Use. We also use a outside consultant to help develop and manage our safety program. We also use an outside company for bi-monthly onsite safety inspections.
Ables Inc. safety statement is to strive for the highest safety standards on our projects. We will provide a safe environment in which to work with the prevention of accidents as our Number 1 goal. Work must be performed in a safe manner to eliminate injury/ illness to our employees, our customer’s employees, and the public.
Our safety program has been developed to assure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations. It is the obligation of all employees to be knowledgeable of the standards established by these agencies and to implement these guidelines on projects under their direction.
A safe operation is organized, clean and efficient. If we all view accidents in the same way as we consider the other aspects of our operations, we will be in a better position to not only control accidents but also to improve the total performance of our company. It is therefore imperative that all aspects of the program be adhered to and the intent of the program be followed. We are serious about safety.
